West Virginia Mountaineers hire Neal Brown as new football coach


The West Virginia Mountaineers have employed Troy’s Neal Brown to a six-year deal to be their new soccer coach, sources informed ESPN on Friday.

The transfer comes solely two days after former Mountaineers coach Dana Holgorsen was formally employed at Houston.

Brown, 38, is certainly one of solely six FBS coaches with 10 victories in every of the previous three seasons.

Brown’s hiring was first reported by Yahoo! Sports activities.

A disciple of Hal Mumme’s and Mike Leach’s “Air Raid” offenses, Brown has a 35-16 file in 4 seasons at Troy. After going Four-Eight in his first season, the Trojans are 31-Eight the previous three seasons mixed and gained three bowl video games. They gained the 2017 Solar Belt Convention title and have been co-Solar Belt East champions this previous season.
