LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – The Barnes and Noble Holiday Book Drive is back for its 13th year of providing books to charities.

In 2018, the store gave 1.2 million books to charities throughout the United States.

Locally, people can buy a book at Valley View Mall’s Barnes and Noble, and it will go to someone at New Horizons. Employees will drop off purchased books at the facility.

“The more books we can get in kids hands and into people’s hands that need them to help,” Store Manager John Hoppe said. “We’re all behind that.”

The book drive runs through December 30th.
