Churchill swept all four singles matches en route to a 7-1 Midwestern League boys tennis victory against Willamette on Thursday.
Alle Banna (6-0, 6-0), Massimo Brigola (6-2, 6-0), Chase Dean (6-0, 6-2) and Dylan Haeri-McCarroll (6-3, 6-1) each won their match for the Lancers.
The doubles team of Jody Vargas-Romero and Mather Belknap accounted for the Wolverines’ one victory, with a 6-2, 6-1 win.
North Bend 5, North Eugene 3: The Bulldogs swept the four doubles matches and the Highlanders got individual wins from Madison Shanaman (6-3, 7-5), Brenna Hurley (6-4, 6-4) and Alia Salden (6-3, 1-6, 10-4).
Churchill 5, Willamette 4: The Lancers swept the singles matches, getting victories from Nicole Hamption (6-3, 6-1), Youha Tanaka (6-1, 6-3), Anna Hiatt (6-4, 6-3) and Hailey Engstrom (6-2, 6-3). Gracie Moyer and Kazuki Tanaka also won at No. 1 doubles for Churchill, 6-3, 5-7, 10-8.
Marist 5, Creswell 0: The Spartans won three singles and two doubles matches against the shorthanded Bulldogs. Chloe Lee led the way with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles. Kallie Harding (6-3, 6-0) and Emily Spellman (6-0, 6-0) also won their singles matches.

Days Creek 8, Mohawk 5 8 innings; Mohawk 8, Days Creek 7 9 innings: Kennedy Mattox hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 2 to give the Mustangs (5-5, 4-3 SD3) a split of their doubleheader at home. Mattox finished the game 3-for-5 and also had an RBI triple. Peyton Robinson also had a triple and a double for Mohawk in their win. Erin Holvery had a two-run double in Game 1.
