As you may have seen recently, numerous renovations are underway across the campus of Emporia State University, and the School of Bussiness is no exception.
Dean of the School of Bussiness Dr. Ed Bashaw, a recent guest of the ESU Buzz, tells KVOE News the first phase of construction in Cremer Hall has recently come to a close. Bashaw tells KVOE phase 1 saw renovations completed to the second-floor conference room to help expand the Kansas Bussiness Hall of Fame.
Bashaw says there is still a bit of cosmetic work yet to be done, however, he has been reassured the work will be completed shortly. He says this is ideal timing as the conference room is set to host a significant meeting in the coming weeks.
Once the renovations are complete, Bashaw says the next phase will see an expansion in outreach for the business hall of fame. Bashaw explains the Kansas Bussiness Hall of Fame boasts quite the collection of accomplished business figures whose influence was felt not only in Kansas but throughout the country and even the world.
Bashaw says the primary beneficiaries of the hall of fame expansion and renovations will be the students in the school of business. His hopes are the hall of fame will serve as an inspiration to ESU students while also bringing more positive association to the school of business as a whole.
